How to actually mathematically 7x your progress over others...
Here I break down the 1 behavior keeping you from getting ahead...
Read time: 90 seconds
Imagine this:
You are 32 years old.
You find yourself mid-connecting flight boarding at Gate 43 to Fort Lauderdale for a weekend networking trip.
You sit down with your Chick-fil-A brunch when you see a 20 year old managing his CRM when you see $234,891 in affiliate commissions on his screen.
Your eyes then move to the right and you see that was for the month of August alone.
He’s 20 years old making nearly $3m / yr passively.
Your jaw drops through the mantle of the earth — he’s completed in 2-or-less years what you have been trying to complete for the last 14.
You started your entrepreneurial journey at 18.
He started at 18.
So what’s the difference between you and him?
Leverage.
Leverage is the difference.
The reason the 20 year old got ahead quicker is not how you would think.
He didn’t move quicker.
He didn’t run faster.
He just got more out of every step.
What do you mean?
Let the following line sink in:
You can move through life at 7x the rate of other people by simply changing when you say you’re going to make a decision
from end of week
to end of day.
This is how to maximize your actionability using Parkinson’s Law, which states:
Work will expand to fill the time allotted for its completion.
This is what he did.
What took you 1 week,
took him 1 day.
People usually take 1 week to make a decision —
If you take 1 day to make that same decision,
wouldn’t it be reasonable you’d be 7x ahead by the end of the week?
If you really think about it… you’d get nearly twice more done in that week alone than they have in that whole month.
That’s how to mathematically 7x your progress over others…
But remember —
If you read this and your behavior doesn’t change as a result,
You’ve learned nothing.
See ya next week!
P.S., the only way this grows is through word-of-mouth,
So if you know of 1 or 2 people who need to hear this,
Please send it their way.
You never know, it might just change the world of someone else.
